Trends in influence marketing in Russia
After Meta got blocked in Russia, there is a huge influx of Russian bloggers into national social networks.
We talked with our colleagues from WildJam and Aprel agencies to outline the main trends.
Telegram messenger, Yandex.Zen (national analog of Medium), and VKontakte social network are experiencing a rebirth. At the same time, they are offering bloggers benefits to attract them. VK has announced that they will give out 100% of advertising profit to their content creators.
The audiences seem to follow their influencers. VKontakte has reached their record number of active users (50M). Yandex.Zen’s audience is bigger than monthly number of almost all social media users in Russia. According to Similar Web, Telegram grew by 14.3% in February.
